We're Done Submittin!
We've got all of our submissions in and now it's time to... wait. If I ever wondered why it takes so freakin' LONG for movies and shorts to get any traction, I know now. The soonest we hear back from anyone will be the end of July. Jeez Louise...
Ladies & Gentlemen, Boys & Girls...
Submittin' Time's here!
Got the submission list and budget together and we're submitting to a number from around the country and Canada. Will update as soon as we hear back on whether we've been accepted or not.
Don't you remember you told me you loved me baby?
A trailer? WHAT?!
That's right! The trailer is officially done! The finished movie should be out mid-late December. Still fun and still crazy! Hope you love it! I said LOVE IT!
Filming is DONE baby!
It was a crazy two days but it's done and done! Huge shoutouts to all the players involved!

...and so it begins. Are we shooting this thing? You bet your Aunt Suzie's asscan we are! (Still not sure what an asscan is.) Tomorrow is the first day of principal photography and people are excited! Lots of 11th hour issues that plague all productions, but the cast and crew are plugging away with professionalism and determination. I also told them I'd skin them all alive if they stepped out of line.

It's Cuttin' Time!
I had to do some rewrites to the script. Some were because some of the scenes were beyond the budget, some were just too hard to pull off technologically (and insurance-wise) and some just needed to be shaved a bit. I believe the secret is you can't fall in love with a scene, so when you do, strip it away quickly.
I think was Michelangelo who said all he does is chip away at the stone to reveal the statue beneath. Or maybe it was Miguel, that weird art teacher who lives two doors down. I'm pretty sure he sells weed. |
You've got a RED? Are you serious?! I thought you guys were just shooting this movie in your backyard with an iPhone?
